What makes it work?
Residents look on the clubhouse as an extension of their villa – their ‘loungeroom’.
All our celebrations, activities, meeting and greeting, many mail boxes and the administration of the village happens within its confines.
The Clubhouse has;
- the Main Offices & print room
- the gift shop
- the hairdresser
- the bar
- the lounge & dance floor
- the library
- the alfresco BBQ area
- the dining room
- the billiard and darts room
- the gym
- the cinema
- the craft room
- the dining room
- various toilet and shower facilities.
Any resident of Beachmere Sands may use any facility in the Clubhouse, together with the outside areas of the pool, the alfresco BBQ area and the bowling green and its surrounds. Residents’ guests may use Clubhouse facilities and recreation areas provided they accompany them at all times. It is a village rule and a matter of security that guests may not move around the village unaccompanied by a resident.
Because the Clubhouse and sporting facilities are an extension of our homes and gardens, it’s important that everyone takes care of them in the same way. The village may be called a Palm Lakes Resort, but isn’t a restaurant or hotel. No one else cleans up after us when we go home or keeps the place tidy, We do that ourselves.
The rules are;
- If you use it, put it away again.
- If you have dirty dishes, put them in the dishwasher.
- If the dishwasher is full of dirty dishes, turn it on.
- If the dishwasher is full of clean dishes, take them out and put them in the drawers and cupboards.
- If you use a communal barbecue, leave it clean for the next person.
- Tidiness and cleanliness of our Clubhouse and surrounds are the responsibility of all.
